For example it could be impossible to extend existing packaging lines with serialization stations due to missing space. Hicof offers with the AMAPLAN the known innovative high-end quality specifically in box separation, box transport and verification system. The AMAPLAN-300 is a very compact Flat Carton Serialization Machine, offering up to 300pcs/min marking performance with a wide variety of formats which allows to fulfill even demanding performance requirements easily.

The AMAPLAN is fully build and designed in Switzerland, offering highest quality standards. The machine does feature a separator which comes with a vacuum belt and a fully servo driven design. From there the products are fed through the machine with top and bottom guidance passing the printer and the Hicof Goldeneye camera. The camera can read and qualify the marking according ISO15415, OCR and OCV. After the marking the finished product is shingled on a output belt for drying of the marking and the easy pick-up by an operator. In case of a substandard marking the product is ejected mechanically to the rejection bin with pneumatic cylinders for reliable and safe operation. The machine features quick adjustments for all critical settings allowing to make a format change within less than 5 minutes. Finally, the AMAPLAN Flat Carton Serialization Machine features superior human safety features to avoid injury.

The AMAPLAN Flat Carton Serialization Machine delivers a very high coding quality due to the product transport system.

The reason for this high coding quality is as follows:

The product is reliably separated through multiple methods by the separator.
Very controlled movement of the product as it is guided from all sides during the flow through the machine.
The closed loop servo controlled movement is extremely precise in reproducing positions, speed and acceleration allowing a very constant product speed for ideal marking results.
A shingling of the product at the output allows long drying times which avoid smear of the freshly marked boxes or flat cartons.

AMAPLAN MODELS

The AMAPLAN-300 Flat Carton Serialization Machine is offering superior print and verification performance through it’s servo driven separator. This allows continuous operation of the marking and the verification combined with Inkjet printing and optional Pharmacode control. The innovative 90° product flow offers the shortest overall footprint of all AMAPLAN models. This makes the AMAPLAN-300 the ideal machine for central marking operations of multiple packaging lines.

The AMAPLAN-L50 Flat Carton Serialization Machine is the most versatile model offering highest flexibility for Box sizes and printing technologies. The machine does transport the separated boxes with flighted conveyors to the marking and verification stations. This allows marking in standstill position with Laser and Inkjet in one machine. This makes the AMAPLAN-L50 the ideal machine for high-end marking operations.

THE LABEL CREATOR

Hicof Amacena features a build-in web based label creator to create and adjust all print layouts for AMAPLANS, and all connected tertiary label printers. The label creator allows GMP compliant change control of all label parameters across the enterprise.

ONE SYSTEM

Hicof AMACENA is a uniform system covering all serialization related topics in the enterprise. The solution works as monoblock which allows the customer to use the same user interfaces across AMACENA. This reduces efforts in training and operations.

Hicof Amacena allows to integrate the solution with in-house IT, external partners and governmental systems. The solution features an easy to use interface engine to quickly set new connections.

SUPPORT

The HICOF Machines offer in combination with AMACENA an integrated IT-backbone, starting at machine level from the devices as printers, cameras and sensors up to data interfaces of governmental servers. In case of an issue, our experts have instantaneously access through remote access to all relevant parameters across all IT-servers down to the PLC, allowing a seamless and immediate support. This is the opposite of the conventional ISA-95 environment with several software and machine suppliers in which each service engineer has only access to his fraction of data, making a comprehensive root cause analysis extremely cumbersome as he has to synchronize with other involved vendors.
