Serialization across whole enterprises is often limited due to space restrictions and budgets. For example it could be impossible to extend existing packaging lines with serialization stations due to missing space. The AMAPLAN-B line of flat carton serialization machines allow to solve this issue by taking the marking operation off-line at an attractive price.

Hicof offers with the AMAPLAN-B an economic solution to feed flat cartons reliably to the printing and control positions. The AMAPLAN-B150 for example is offering up to 250pcs/min marking performance with a wide variety of formats which allows to fulfil even demanding performance requirements easily.

The AMAPLAN-B machines are assembled and designed in Switzerland, offering highest quality standards. The machines do feature a separator which feature reliable friction feeding mechanisms for careful product transport. From there the products are fed through the machine, passing the printer and the Hicof Goldeneye camera. The camera can read and qualify the marking according ISO15415, OCR and OCV. After the marking the AMAPLAN-B150 shingles the finished product on an output belt for drying of the marking and the easy pick-up by an operator. In case of a substandard marking the product is ejected mechanically to the rejection bin with an innovative retractable rejection table for reliable and safe operation. Rejected products are caught on the rejection table and will be dropped to the reject bin. All AMAPLAN-B machines features quick adjustments for all critical settings allowing to make a format change within less than 5 minutes.
