The Hicof AMACODER-C300 is a revolutionary serialization machine based on a patented box transport mechanism. The machine, is based on the proven Hicof mechanisms while lowering the cycle time. This allows to provide high quality output and low reject rates at maximum throughput.
Automatic cartoner lines typically operate as either intermittent (indexed) or continuous. While continuous coding machines offer high throughput, they are often prohibitively expensive and bulky. Conversely, intermittent machines as the standard AMACODER are compact and cost-effective, but have traditionally been limited to speeds of 150 packs/min.
Hicof is redefining these boundaries. With the latest evolution of the AMACODER, we offer the first intermittent coding line capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 pcs/min. By utilizing a new patented transport principle, we have achieved minimal cycle times and maximum throughput, effectively bridging the gap between intermittent flexibility and continuous-motion speed.
The unique, patented concept of the AMACODER replaces conventional conveyors with a precision pusher system. Boxes arriving from upstream equipment—such as a cartoner or checkweigher—are moved by a conveyor to the Amacoder’s infeed plate. The new pusher mechanism is able to engage and disengage which allowed us to integrate two pusher systems which can work alternately. Once one stroke is complete, the pusher retracts to allow the next set of boxes to be introduced. This cycle creates a highly controlled, indexed movement of the product stack.

Hicof AMACENA is a uniform system covering all serialization related topics in the enterprise. The solution works as monoblock which allows the customer to use the same user interfaces across AMACENA. This reduces efforts in training and operations.
The HICOF Machines offer in combination with AMACENA an integrated IT-backbone, starting at machine level from the devices as printers, cameras and sensors up to data interfaces of governmental servers. In case of an issue, our experts have instantaneously access through remote access to all relevant parameters across all IT-servers down to the PLC, allowing a seamless and immediate support. This is the opposite of the conventional ISA-95 environment with several software and machine suppliers in which each service engineer has only access to his fraction of data, making a comprehensive root cause analysis extremely cumbersome as he has to synchronize with other involved vendors.
